On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, the General Assembly of the Turiec Regional Tourism Organization was held at the Turiec Hotel. At the meeting, the members of the organization discussed the approval of the budget and plans for 2025. The main priorities for the next year include the development of cycling infrastructure, support for events of our partners in the region and strengthening the marketing promotion of Turca as an attractive tourist destination.
The main theme of 2025 will be the development of conditions for cycling, which includes the marking of cycling routes, improving wayfinding signage and the promotion of services for cyclists. In addition, the organisation will focus on the co-organisation and promotion of cultural and sporting events by individual partners to complement the offer for visitors within the region throughout the year.
In the area of communication, we plan to highlight three main themes:
Hiking - Discovering the natural beauty of the region, which offers a wide range of opportunities for hiking and relaxation
Cultural richness - Promoting traditions and cultural events that reflect the rich history and uniqueness of the region Turiec
Winter sports - Winter season and the possibilities of skiing, cross-country skiing or other sports activities that the region offers
In 2025, the Turiec Regional Tourism Organisation will work intensively with local partners, municipalities and the business sector to enhance the attractiveness of the region and improve the visitor experience. "The year 2025 is a big challenge for us, as we want to not only continue our current activities, but also bring new innovations that will make Turiec more attractive as a destination" said the Chairman of the Board Ing. Dalibor Steindl.
