Borisov is a magnificent peak in Great Fatrawhich visitors love for its beautiful surroundings and breathtaking panoramic views. This full-day, more challenging hike will test you, so allow plenty of time for it. From the top, you will have a beautiful circular view of the surrounding mountains of Veľká Fatra and the endlessly stretching valleys.
Below the peak is Cottage under Borišov, which is popular among tourists, as it lies on the route of the ridge of Veľká Fatra. In winter it is often visited by ski mountaineers. You can start the ascent to Borišov from the villages Necpaly or Bela-Dulice.
