The aim of the discussion will be to stimulate an inspiring dialogue on the importance of urban planning for the quality of life of its inhabitants.

Together with selected experts, visitors will reflect on how to plan and develop cities with environmental and social sustainability in mind. Integrated urban plans that take into account resource efficiency, renewable energy, improving air quality and minimising environmental impacts will be discussed. Participants will also address the topic of citizen participation, how to involve citizens' views and needs in the urban planning and policy-making process. Together, they will look for answers on how to create cities that are joyful environments to live in.
