Celebration of 60 years of Andrej Kmet's Museum

On 23 December 1964, a new chapter of cultural and scientific life opened in Martin - the Andrej Kmet's Turčianske Museum was established. This important institution, which today belongs to the Slovak National Museum, commemorates sixty years of its rich history.
On this occasion we cordially invite you to exhibition 60 years of the Andrej Kmet Museum, which offers a unique insight into the museum's activities over six decades.

- Highlights of the collection, from oil paintings to entomological boxes.
- Previously unpublished photographs from the museum's photographic documentation and from private collections.
- Unique herbarium items, rocks, minerals and other fascinating exhibits.

📍 Where: I. purpose-built building of the Slovak National Museum, Martin.
🎨 The exhibition will be open until 25 May 2025.
