Last week, in cooperation with Visit Slovakia and Televízia TA3, we filmed an episode of the show Secrets of Slovakia in the Turiec region. The TV crew and representatives of Slovakia travel had the opportunity to get to know the unique places of Turca.
📍 Together we visited 🏰 Sklabiňa Castle ⛷ Winter Park Martinky on Martinských holy, 🏡 Museum of Slovak Village, 💧Mineral spring and Budiš factory, 🐝 Bee farm PČOLA, 🏖 Modern spa Turčianske Teplice and other beautiful places in the region.

Combine spectacular views, fresh air exercise and a gentle challenge! Join us on an adventure through the beautiful nature of Mala Fatra to the Vendovka hut. 🌲🏔️
🗺️ Start of route:
The trip starts in the Sučianska valley, near the Jarolím cottage settlement. From there, a blue hiking trail will take you through the stream and forests until you reach the crossroads of forest roads with a turn-off to Vendovka. Picturesque views, a pleasant climb and the smell of nature await you.
🔹 Cottage Vendovka:
This popular tourist stop offers a short rest area - although it is usually locked, the hallway is often accessible. You'll also find a spring here to refill your water. 🏞️
If you like, you can extend your hike and continue to Malý Kriváň.
📌 Information:
⏳ Duration: the tour takes about 3 hours (one way).
💧 Water and refreshments: don't forget to refill your water at the spring behind the Vendovka hut.
🏠 Accommodation: KST Sučany.
