The Regional Tourism Organisation Žilina Tourist Region in cooperation with our tourism organisation Turiec has secured the purchase of four new bicycle service stands. These modern stands will be located in the villages of Sučany, Turček, Kláštor pod Znievom and Blatnica.

The regional tourism organisation is made up of member regional tourism organisations, which have identified the purchase of bicycle service racks as one of their strategic objectives, designed to contribute to the expansion and improvement of the cycling infrastructure in the Turiec region and the whole Žilina region. Each rack is equipped with basic service tools, a powerful inflator and a repair bracket. Cycle service stands are designed not only for cyclists, but also for stroller or scooter users who appreciate the possibility of wheel inflation.

These racks will contribute to the expansion of cycling infrastructure in the region, as cycling is a popular leisure activity for visitors to our region.

The activity was implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
