On Sunday, May 21, the 3rd round of the 10th jubilee edition of the Peter Sagan Children's Tour took place at the airport in Tomčany. The event welcomed more than 600 young racers and enthusiastic cycling fans. This year was a truly exceptional experience for all participants. The weather was kind to us and this was reflected in the great turnout when we recorded more than 2,500 visitors to the event.

Children cyclists took the start in 6 different categories and showed amazing performances. In addition to the children themselves, their parents also came to the event and had the opportunity to measure their strength on the track in Tomčany. The winners of the individual categories also received an attraction - a full-day entrance to the Spa & Aquapark Turčianske Teplice, which was donated by the spa resort Moderné kúpele Turčianske Teplice. We would like to thank them for this great gift.

In addition to the race itself, visitors could also enjoy a rich accompanying programme. The drum show of CAMPANA BATUCADA and the children's theatre contributed to the creation of a great atmosphere and entertainment for all present. In addition, a variety of children's attractions, sponsor presentations and a food court with local vendors were set up, creating a pleasant environment for all visitors.

We also had the honour to cooperate with the city of Martin in the presentation of the region. The mobile bicycle stand offered visitors the opportunity to discover the beauties and possibilities of cycling and cycling tourism in the Turiec region. We were thrilled to be able to promote our region and its tourist attractions through this presentation.

The main co-organizer, the city of Martin in cooperation with OOCR Turiec, are proud to have contributed to the success of the Peter Sagan Children's Tour. The event was realized with the financial support of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic.

We are extremely pleased with the huge interest and participation not only from the competitors, but also from the visitors of the event. We would like to express our gratitude to the Peter Sagan Children's Tour team for the opportunity to host this race for the second time in our city of Turiec and we believe that the Peter Sagan Children's Tour has become an essential part of the cycling calendar in the Turiec region and we look forward to seeing you again at the next edition.
