Lysec is a large Fatra peak lying off the main ridge between Belianska a through the Jasenská valley. It towers over the village Bela-Dulice, close to the ski resort Jasenská Valley ski resort. Below the peak you will find rare beech-fir forests and local occurrence of yew. The ascent to Lysec is possible in any season and it is a relatively easy to climb peak. Thanks to the possibility of a circular route, you do not have to return the same way. There is a panoramic signpost on the summit to help you recognise the individual peaks - in good weather the views are truly beautiful.
